ARTISTS WORKING IN ECLECTIC MEDIUMS |
Jeanne Adams — Ruidoso, New Mexico
Painting on Sandstone
I am still painting with acrylics on flagstone, because it's still fun. I am doing a wash/bleed effect that I like, then over paint with line. I paint, draw, write, sing, dance, love (some better than others) -- because I can't help it.

Joyce Hastings — Capitan, New Mexico
Pottery
Her focus for the past 6 years has been to concentrate on hand-built, pinched coil construction, one of the earliest techniques in making pottery. The process requires the making of many clay coils which are then pinched together to form a desired shape. The piece is then manipulated by carving and sculpting. Aspects of her recent work are considered photo-real with a directional base focused on sculptural/functional forms using design motifs from nature.

Annemarie LaMay — Ruidoso, New Mexico
Horses
“I have always loved horses, and have been around them all my life. My work reflects what I see when I look at a horse; power, fire, grace, & beauty. I also have a deep connection with the surroundings of my native home – New Mexico. These traits along with coming from a long line of artists are what have enabled me to express, in mixed media, what I see and feel in my ride every day.”
