Merrill Nix — Carlsbad, New Mexico Merrill Nix started her photography career while attending the University of Texas at Austin.  She received her BSJ while serving as a photographer and photo editor of the Daily Texan. While working on her double Masters at Ohio University, Merrill was selected to attend the prestigious Eddie Adams and Missouri Workshops. Although trained as a documentary photojournalist, a workshop in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, reawakened her love for nature and wildlife photography.
